We are not babysitters ~ We are Junior Disciple Makers!

Our goal is for BridgeKids to be the best hour of our kids' week!

BridgeKids (birth-5th grade) is a children’s ministry designed to meet kids where they are at in life, and to introduce them to Jesus Christ and what it means to have a lasting relationship with Him. We teach kids how to grow in their faith, form their unique identities, and how to read and understand the Bible. We are passionate about giving children a fun, engaging worship experience, along with playing games and designing activities that will allow kids to have a blast while learning about Christianity.

What to expect.

First time here:

Follow the signs to our first-time families check-in table or ask a Guest Services team member to help you find out where to go. At the check-in station, we will register your child into our secure database system, and one of our BridgeKids greeters will lead your family to the age-appropriate ministry area. You will have a chance to meet the Team Leader, other BridgeKids crew members, and get a good feel for what we do on Sunday mornings in BridgeKids.

We will ask for the following personal information: your name, children’s names and birthdays, phone number and any special instructions (i.e. allergies, special needs) for your child. This is all part of creating a safe and secure environment for all of our children.

Weekly Check-in:

Each week you will use a self check-in kiosk to register your child for his/her age appropriate class and service time. You will need a phone number or the barcode tag you received after your second visit.

After you have checked in, you and your child will receive matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag and you will keep the matching parent tag.

Immediately following the conclusion of the service, please pick up your child in the designated area, and be sure to present to the BridgeKids crew members your identification tag so that your child may be released to you. You will be required to show your matching parent tag, so please do not lose it.

If there is a reason that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s identification code will appear on the projector screen in the auditorium. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a BridgeCrew member who will escort you to where you child is.

All of our volunteers in the BridgeKids ministry have passed a background check. We also have a security team in place to ensure the safety of all of our guests (including your children.)

Bridge Kids values.

Age Appropriate:

The lesson materials we use are designed for each kid to learn about God in a way the he/she can understand, and enjoy! We are currently using the Gospel Project curriculum.

Kids love fun, and truth be told--so do we! We realize that when children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back. We use creative, and exciting ways to teach children about Jesus and the Bible, including games, activities, singing, and much more.

Creative Bible teaching:

We teach the Bible and its stories through activities, small group discussion, and other creative ways that keep children engaged. We want children to understand, love, and know God’s word and how to apply it to their lives.
