Life At The Bridge 2-25-21

Our world has an interesting relationship with the supernatural. It fills our movies and books and other forms of entertainment, yet our growing atheistic and science driven culture refuses to acknowledge that there is any validity to the belief that there are beings or forces beyond what we can see or touch. Even those who follow Christ feel pressured to take a more nominal stand on the issue to keep from being labeled as "weird" or worse. Good thing ignorance is bliss, right? NO! Ignorance is devastating when evil forces are involved.

The scriptures are filled with evidence of a supernatural world beyond just the existence of God. The pages of scripture are filled with stories of angels and demons and spiritual forces we cannot see or touch in the temporal realm. As a temple capable of hosting the Holy Spirit, we have to wonder if there is a real danger that we could be a host for evil spirits as well? This Sunday we will explore what the Bible says rather than just buying what the world teaches us through secular entertainment. My hope is that we can all gain a clearer understanding to keep our temple sacred and secure.

If you want to look ahead, you can take a look at Matthew 12:43-45, Mark 5:1-20, Ephesians 6:10-12 and Proverbs 4:23. If nothing else, this Sunday will be...interesting. So invite a friend. Hope you can join us here or online for the conclusion of our Temple Keepers series. We will continue to stream our services live. Scroll down for links to find us online.
