Life At The Bridge 2-4-21
The temple we live in is an amazing tool for our use and for God's glory, but it doesn't last forever. Sometimes it's hard to know when we should hang on and when we should let go. As I listen to stories and watch people, I see that the end of life season can be a very confusing time. Whether it is you or someone you love, we all ask, "How tightly should I hang on to this life and how do I know when to let go? And when it is time to let go...just how do I do that?"
Even though there is no air tight, text-book answers to these questions, I do believe our faith can inform our outlook and help us navigate this especially difficult time that we will all face at some point. Join us Sunday at 9 or 11am, online or in person. We will also continue to stream our services live. Scroll down for links to find us online. To get a head start for this Sunday you can read Mark 13:1-2, Psalm 116:15, Isaiah 57:1-2, I Thessalonians 4:13-18.
The COVID Task Force, which is composed of health care professionals and team leaders, met again this week. They have agreed that the steps LifeBridge is currently taking by requiring masks in the building is working well. You are NOT required to use the Save Your Seat system, but if you want to be notified in the case of a known exposure, feel free to register through the system here. Our task force will continue to monitor the situation and remove restrictions as appropriate.
Join our volunteer team this Saturday at 9am (Or come at 8am and join the Prayer Encounter before starting to work) for the Preparing for Spring renovation project. You will be amazed at what our volunteer teams accomplished already this week! Email [email protected] and he will put you on the list to be contacted regarding more work days.
You can also help us fund this project. Access our super easy giving portal here.
Do you have a Middle or High School Student? We would love to have your student and their friends join us on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm. Middle School has prizes for students who bring friends!
Middle School is meeting in The Landing, and High School meets in the sanctuary.

We believe that LifeGroups are one of the most practical ways to live out our faith. In a LifeGroup we have the opportunity to meet with the people around us to learn more about God, support each other, and reach out to those outside the church in a practical and meaningful way. We would love for everyone at LifeBridge to be part of a LifeGroup so we have many different options at many different dates and times. We have some groups starting this week, don't miss out! Check out the options and sign up for one HERE!
If you have any questions or want more information you can contact us at [email protected].
Every journey consists of a series of steps. LifeBridge is not a place to sit still – it is not designed to be like a comfortable set of bleachers. We are passionate about helping people experience a journey of faith that takes them from here…to a rich and satisfying life in Jesus Christ. You can’t do that sitting down. So, what is your next step at LifeBridge?
NEXT is a series of four classes for those who realize this and are ready to explore what is next. If you have been attending LifeBridge for any length of time, or you are beginning to wonder if Sunday morning is all there is, I strongly recommend you attend NEXT. We hope to see you there soon.
Sign up HERE for any of the NEXT Classes or contact [email protected] for more information.
