Life At The Bridge 1-14-21
Wow, it was SO great to be back together last Sunday with many of you. If you missed it and are ready to come back, please begin planning now to join us this Sunday at 9:01 or 11:01am. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
In I Corinthians, Pauls says, “Do you not know that you are a temple of the Holy Spirit?” To which many of us might say, “Wow, I did not know that. What does that even mean?” I’ve actually been familiar with the concept for some time, but I have to be honest, I understood very little of what it meant.
This is a series I have been waiting over a year to share with all of you and this Sunday we will kick it off. After months of studying this concept, I have all kinds of new insights and ideas to share with you that I hope will take our faith to a whole new level. I really want you to join us this Sunday, in person or online, and bring a pen and paper, ready to take notes.
We will also continue to stream our services live. Scroll down for links to find us online. To get a head start for this Sunday you can read II Chronicles 6:12-7:3, I Corinthians 6:19-20, John 3:1-8.
Please be aware that since the local COVID risk is still high, both services will be masks required. You are NOT required to use the Save Your Seat system, but if you want to be notified in the case of a known exposure, feel free to register through the system here. Our task force will continue to monitor the situation and remove restrictions as appropriate.
Eight O’ Clock Encounter: Prayer is the engine behind the power and passion of a church that is on fire. Join with us at 8am Saturday morning to do the important work of seeking God in preparation for this next season of growth.
LifeGroups are one of the most practical ways we live out our faith in Jesus here at Life Bridge. They help us grow in our relationship with Jesus by connecting with the people in our community. This Sunday, January 17 at 1PM we’re hosting a leadership training for our upcoming LifeGroup leaders, and if you’re interested in becoming a leader you are welcome to join! If you want to join or have questions, let Justin know at justin.webuildbridges.org.
Give the gift of blood to start off this new year! Each donation can save up to 3 lives! Versiti Blood Center of Michigan will be in the foyer at LifeBridge Church on January 19th from 12p-6pm. Celebrate Recovery: If you have been missing CR, it’s time to get back! This Friday night is a testimony night and Jerry Beckwith will be sharing his story. 7pm at LifeBridge Church.
If you are into video games, let's connect! Lifebridge and Pastor Justin have joined with some Water's Edge churches to create a Discord server with channels for all sorts of different games for all sorts of different people. It's always better to play with people you know, and discord is a great way to interact with people in your community. Email [email protected] for more information.
As a leadership team, we are very excited about the renovations that will prepare more space for the season of growth ahead. But even more exciting is the opportunity to work together. We learned from the UnCanceled Christmas event that Lifers are eager to be and work together.
In February we will be giving Lifers the opportunity to work together to help with this monumental project. On Sunday, January 31, you are invited to a gathering at 1pm to tour the building and hear the plans. We are also bringing in Rob Beattie to manage this project. If you are interested in being part of our volunteer team for the Preparing for Spring renovation projects, reach out and introduce yourself by emailing him at [email protected]. He will put you on the list to be contacted when he begins organizing work days.
