Life At The Bridge 10-8-20
Family is just too important. Although much of the world is eager to discard the whole idea of family, it is God’s plan and when done right, our “family” can provide the most life-giving and rewarding relationships in our world. So let’s not throw away our family, let’s work to improve it.
The last two Sundays have given us great opportunities to gather and worship as a spiritual family and gain super practical, biblical tools for doing life together. If you missed week one, Feelings Are Valued, click here to view that message. If you missed last week, Apologies Are Real, click here.
Join us this Sunday as we discover what the “M” in F-A-M-I-L-Y stands for. You can study Ephesians 4:11-16 in preparation for the message. See if you can guess which “M” word we will explore. Sunday at 9:01 and 11:01am.

NEW DRIVEWAY: Hey, let’s make this beautiful new feature work to keep us safe and improve traffic flow. On Sunday mornings, we are encouraging people to use the driveway on M-140 as the entrance to our parking lot and the new driveway as the exit when you leave. If you are heading south (turning right) onto M-140 you may use the current driveway, but for all other traffic we are encouraging you to go out to Blue Star. This will help our traffic team to help you. I’m excited to see how this works.
CANDY CARAVAN - a new drive-thru Trunk or Treat experience: Hey Lifers and families, we haven’t done anything fun for a while. Thanks a lot COVID! It’s time to do something exciting we can invite our neighbors to. Over the next few weeks we are hoping to collect a mountain of candy to share with the kids of our community so start grabbing some at the store and bring it to our collection bin under the metal "Bridge Kids" sign at check-in. You can also be thinking about an idea for a trunk, tent or even an RV to decorate as one of our stations. It’s time to call out your creative side and put an idea together. We have lots more plans, so keep your eyes open for more info. The event will be held Saturday, October 31st from 3-5pm.
Ripple Effect - Save the date! In just a few weeks we will gather to encourage and support our mission partners at our annual Ripple Effect Mission Conference on Sunday November 8. Our theme this year is Waymaker and we are excited to hear how these servants have been making their way through the current global crisis to spread the gospel and be the hands and feet of Jesus. The conference will look a bit different this year so stay tuned over the next few weeks to hear more about how we plan to encourage and support our local, regional and global partners.
Eight O’ Clock Encounter: You've heard us talking about it. Come and see what's up. We are in the process of making some huge staffing decisions here at LifeBridge and I invite you to gather with us to seek God’s favor, wisdom and direction for the future of our church. Whether you can meet us on Saturday mornings or not, please be in prayer for these crucial decisions.
BRIDGE BABIES: Until now, we have not had nursery services for our guests due to COVID related challenges. But now we are getting ready to provide loving care for our youngest Lifers during our weekend services! If you are interested in serving in our nursery, please contact Nate and Alicia by emailing them at [email protected].
