Life At The Bridge 8-27-20
As I look around me, it seems our world is shell-shocked. Between an unexpected pandemic, social unrest, deep racial and political division, Facebook drama, hurricanes and wildfires and even plagues of locust, people just seem beat up and dazed. This season has been tough!
There is a time and place for taking a seat and catching your breath. But there also comes a point when it is time to stand up and step out. We may still be a little scared. We may still be a little confused. We are definitely a bit uncertain. But times like these call for true leaders to rise up, to get a vision for a better future and to step courageously into the unknown.
The people of God are called to be the head and not the tail. It’s not about being in charge, it’s about having the faith to be in front. In a world full of uncertainty, good leadership becomes even more essential. When times are tough, the people of God must set their sight above the temporary and trivial...and lead.
Join us over the next few weeks as we seek God for the wisdom and direction we need to stand up, step out and take the lead in our new series: Essential Leadership!

Each week more and more Lifers are returning. This last week was our highest attendance yet. If you do not feel comfortable to return yet, know that we love and miss you, but we respect your decision. You are still an important part of our church family and we look forward to seeing you when you are ready. In the mean-time, feel free to check in by filling out a connection card any time. Let us know how you are doing and if there is any way we can serve you.
