Life At The Bridge 03-06-2020
So, right this minute I am sitting in the airport preparing to head back home. This week I have had the privilege of attending the Exponential Church Planters Conference here in Orlando. It has been a powerful time to renew, and re-energize.
I want to take just a minute to thank those who pray for me and all our leadership team regularly. I know there are many of you out there because you tell me periodically. Those prayers are being answered all the time, but during weeks like this one, I feel the response to those prayers even more intensely. God has truly met us here this week - to shower us with love and affirmation, but also to give fresh focus and direction for the journey ahead.
My hope and my prayer has been that I will be able to bring this passion and energy back and breathe fresh life into our congregation. But one of the things God has really challenged me on this week is that our purpose as a church is not just to give you something. But our purpose is to prepare you, empower you and release you to be all that God has purposed for you to be - for His glory AND for your prosperity.
I look forward to being home to jump back into the journey God has called us on together. I hope this has been a blessed week for you as well.
